The Colora community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of three-year-old Olivia Blanford, who tragically died in an accident on September 7th.
Olivia was the cherished daughter of Chas and Shanna Blanford, who adored her beyond measure. Though her time in this world was short, she filled every moment with joy, laughter, and a light that touched all who knew her. Her bright smile, sweet spirit, and playful innocence will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Family and loved ones have been sharing their grief and memories. Steven Westfall wrote, “Sweet Olivia brought so much joy in her time… Her smile was a light of joy and innocence. We will always remember Olivia’s laughter and sweetness.”
Shaun Hampton Jr. shared his condolences, saying, “As a father, I cannot imagine the heartbreak of losing a child. My heart goes out to Chas and Shanna Blanford during this unimaginable time.”
Friends, coworkers, and neighbors have come together to surround the Blanford family with love and prayer. A GoFundMe, organized by Jason Rimmer, helped support the family’s burial costs, with Jason writing, “My precious three-year-old niece Olivia tragically passed… We are amazed and grateful for the outpouring of support for the Blanford family.”
Olivia’s passing is a loss that words can never fully capture, but her memory will continue to live on in the love she gave and the joy she brought. She will be remembered as a precious daughter, niece, and friend whose time was far too short but whose impact was everlasting.
The Blanford family asks for continued prayers as they walk through this unimaginable grief.
